Courtesy Town of Gilbert Gilbert police officers will be doing a seat-belt-enforcement campaign May 22-June 4. Posted Monday, May 22, 2023 2:37 pm Independent Newsmedia Gilbert PD will join law enforcement agencies across the state and country in stepping up traffic patrols May 22-June 4 with a goal of increasing seatbelt usage rates through education and enforcement. The Arizona Governor's Office of Highway Safety has awarded the Gilbert Police Department a $10,000 grant for the 2023 "Buckle Up Arizona" (Click It or Ticket) campaign, helping to make the enforcement campaign possible.
